Welcome

Ben Cooper

About me Hi, my name is Ben Cooper; welcome to my website coops-online. I'm a Maths teacher in Birmingham, and I've set up this site to share the teaching resources I make when I'm trying to get out of doing proper work. I live in a very hectic house, our second daughter was born last December and she takes us to four children under the age of 7, add onto that the snakes, cats, lizards, turtles and dog, I have long forgotten what a good night's sleep is. I started to try to make good, solid resources that would help to make things easier and get a bit of work life balance back. I try to make simple resources that I can easily modify for when I need them next. I am still early on in my career, I receive a lot of help and support from those around me and sharing resources is a way to make me feel like I'm contributing. I hope that if you've come here knackered, possibly with a pile of books still to mark and kids to still get to bed, you can find something to make your day a bit easier tomorrow. Whether you use the resources here as they are or chop them up and make something new I hope it helps, and frees up some of your valuable time.
Follow me on Twitter If you'd like to stay in touch and find out about any new resources coming up on the site you can follow me on twitter @bcoops_online. Or if you've come looking for a resource and couldn't find it you can give me a shout and I'll try to put something together (I can't work to deadlines, but maybe it'll be ready for the next time you teach the topic)
Follow me on             online If you're a member of the TES website you can find a selection of my resources there. I have been blown away by the support and encouragement from the TES, their resource teams and users of the website. I hope that you guys who have been so kind enjoy the site.

We’ve tried to make the site easier to view on a phone or tablet.  If you’d like to check it out, perhaps you could send a bit of feedback on how successful it’s been?
Many thanks to people who have donated towards the maintenance of this site when downloading the resources here. It will go a long way to pay for it’s up-keep.
If you have digital resources that you would like to sell through this site’s shop please email Ben> cooper.bros@hotmail.com with details or for details
UNFORTUNATELY, WHILE MANY RESOURCES HERE ARE CURRENTLY FREE THE WEB SITE ITSELF IS NOT FREE TO MAINTAIN & HOST ETC.  IN ORDER FOR THE SITE TO CONTINUE AND TO KEEP AS MANY, HOPEFULLY USEFUL RESOURCES AS FREE DOWNLOADS, PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING AN APPROPRIATE AMOUNT.
A special thank you The best teacher I know is my fiancé Jen Walker, she has really helped me realise that the subject is not the most important thing in our job, it's the children. She helps me remember that you can have all the fancy resources, or OFSTED lesson observations or have every book marked to within a inch of its life, but if you're not putting the children at the heart of what you're doing, you're not up to much. Jen puts up with a lot from me when I'm obsessively trying to finish a powerpoint or we're late going out because I need 2 more minutes to get an animation to work. I'd just like to say thank you to her, and say that she is amazing and that I love her very much.
